So you may be suspecting that your child may have dyscalculia and you are looking for a dyscalculia test to help you decide if your child does have this disability. First let me say that only your doctor can diagnose your child with dyscalculia, but there are some tell tale signs of this disability, but also ways to improve it click here for a great product for dyscalculic children
Your child may have Dyscalulia if your child has difficulty:
- Reading analog clocks
- Understanding basic and complex math concepts and rules
- Doing basic math such as addition and subtraction
- Understanding times tables
- Remembering the names of shapes such as squares and triangles
- Understanding fractions
- Understanding square roots
- Distinguishing which is a larger or smaller number
- Understanding percentages
- Copying numbers to paper
- Or has anxiety when asked to do math
If your child has half or more of these symptoms then it is most likely dyscalculia. There should be special actions taken for your child, and there are ways to help your child. Learning aids have proven to help dyscalculics and there are software’s out there to help your child. Personally, I like “Dyscalculia No More” they have created Number Magic.
Number magic is great for dyscalculic children because it is created just for children with dycalculia in the form of a game.
